Any ideas on how to get our visit downtown started?
First, let us note that we are not paid to mention any business in Downtown Branson, and not mentioning one does not infer anything on our part. These are just ideas off the top of our head to get you started. There are plenty of places along Main and Commercial Streets to make your own determinations of what you like. Discovery is half the fun.
Keep in mind most shops downtown are closed on Sundays. Busiest times are usually Wednesdays thru Saturday.
If arriving on a chilly day, and wanting to minimize walking in the cold, you might want to park and re-park your vehicle from place to place. As mentioned, more parking spaces during your visit should be available than in peak seasons. Keep in mind
If you arrive on one of our mild and sunny winter days, park anywhere along Main or Commercial and you will be within walkin distance of everything.
One helpful hack good to know is that Main Street between Commercial and Sycamore is a relatively steep grade (small hill). So, if walking if any sort of issue for you or someone in your party, perhaps plan on parking in the center of stretch of Main Street in front of the business you want to visit.
There are some fun flea market shops on that stretch of street. Also, Starbucks is at the bottom of that stretch, as is, a giant wall mural visitors love to photograph.
Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Tea, Espresso?
At the east end of Main St., (bottom of the hill) across from the Hilton and Branson Railroad, you will find Starbucks with inside seating.
From the intersection of Main and Commercial Streets, head north down Commercial and you will find Revived Juice (across from Regions Bank). There you can get coffee, a variety of espresso and other drinks include juices, ginger, and wheatgrass shots and some food items such as avocado toast.
